Definition of NLP

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the science of excellence and the art of change.  NLP is the study of how our mind and language affect our behavior. NLP is a very pragmatic “how to” technology that teaches us how to use our brain, language and physiology systematically to produce the desired results.

Neuro-refers to the neurological system, the way we use our sense of sights, hearing, touch, taste and smell to translate our experience into thought processes.  Linguistic-refers to the way we use language to make sense of our experience, and how language can influence our performance. Programming-refers to the way we organize our thoughts and behaviors in order to achieve a specific outcome.  Our internal personal programming controls all of our external behaviors. Through the awareness of our personal programming we can master the structure of excellence

NLP is a discovery about how people think, communicate, feel, and act.  It is a field that is constantly evolving, innovating, and developing.  It offers tools for creating profound personal change and offers countless professional applications.  The processes are elegant, powerful, and always practical.
